SMARTPM will once again be present as an exhibitor at MetalMadrid, in its 15th edition, the reference event for metal fabrication, machining and processing.
We will present the new features of the MIC automation platform and the new model 300 of the METAFLEX family. In addition, we will have the attraction of seeing a flexible and autonomous cell in operation, as well as being able to see "Charlie", the robot solution on AMR, in action.
The major trade fair event will be held on November 15 and 16 at IFEMA under the umbrella of the Advanced Manufacturing Madrid brand, with the participation of more than 600 exhibitors. SMARTPM will be in hall 10 - stand 10B18.
MIC Platform: "orchestra conductor" at work
Those who come to the SMARTPM booth will be able to see first-hand how the possibilities of automating production are more accessible than they may seem at first glance.
We will show a multiprocess that integrates machining and third operations, with robots, AMRs, warehouse and safety elements. The most interesting thing for the attendees is to see Charlie working on site in the optimized machining process. And no wonder, because Charlie is more than a robot.
On the one hand, Charlie has, in addition to a KUKA manipulator robot, an autonomous mobile platform AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) from MiR, all adapted to work collaboratively, i.e. it has the capacity to work among professionals. And on the other hand, Charlie.
This solution, developed jointly with IMH Campus reinforces the flexibility of the plant operations both in terms of handling and possible third operations managed by the robot.
Innovations that facilitate intelligent automation
At SMARTPM we are committed to facilitating intelligent automation for machining companies. With this objective in mind, at MetalMadrid23 we will present MIC PLANNER and METAFLEX300, new solutions that can gradually turn the workshop into flexible and unattended cells.
New PLANNER module in MIC
We have added a new functionality to the MIC platform: the PLANNER module.
The MIC PLANNER module enables workshops to optimize workflows autonomously and dynamically. It allows production to be planned and scheduled in a way that maximizes installed capacity and makes production more flexible in order to always meet manufacturing commitments.
During MetalMadrid we will conduct demonstrations at the stand to show its operation and answer questions.
New model METAFLEX300
The family METAFLEX family grows. The pick&place solution for autonomous warehouse management and machine feeding now offers a model for higher loads, up to 300 kg total load. In addition, it can be combined with METAFLEX150, multiplying the options to suit production needs.
Lecture at Tech Congress 4.0
SMARTPM will also be on the agenda of the Tech Congress 4.0, a parallel congress where the latest trends and success stories in industrial transformation will be discussed.
Jose Castellanos, CEO of SMARTPM, will participate with the presentation "Egile's experience in automation for the aero sector; flexibility, resilience and productivity in short series and complex processes".
